Happiness comes from within

(I thought that I’d re-blog this for anyone who might need a little bit of inspiration today)

Whatever your journey is in life; one thing that we all have in common is our search for happiness.  What makes you happy? Is it something that you have already, something that you want, or so…

Something different: Cat Cafe

Today I had a great first experience in going to a cat cafe called Catpawcino.

It was fab and I definitely recommend it as something different to do. Cat cafes are becoming more popular in the UK now. I’m sure there’ll be one near you!

A cat cafe is like any other cafe apart from the fact there are resident cats there. It was very hygienic, with food being prepared in a cat free zone and they had hand sanitiser before entry.

The difference that I felt with this cafe than any other was that it was very community orientated. Having cats there to play with and interact with made the people who were visiting interact more with each other aswell which gave it a friendly and relaxed vibe.

I was also glad to see that the cats welfare was very highly thought of, with a room that they could go to if they wanted quiet time, lots of things to play with and climb up and a set of rules for customers to make sure that they were treat properly.

It’s a great way for cat lovers and also people who don’t have an animal at home to go and spend some time doing something different.

I’ll definitely be going back!

Here are a couple of the lovely cats that I saw today.

You are worthy

Believe in yourself.

Believe in the infinite possibilities, that you are capable of achieving.

Believe in love.

Believe in true happiness,

and most of all, believe in your worth and that you deserve all of the above x

De-clutter your home: ideas and inspiration

Is your home full of things that you don’t need, love or use? Do you want to de-clutter and keep it that way?

We all make impulse purchases from time to time and they can take up a lot of space in our homes where we’d rather have things that we love. However, before you sort through it all and throw it out, think about how you can help the environment, who could use it and if you could make any money from it.

Re-cycle/up-cycle

  • Donate it to charity (charity furniture shops/clothing banks/ charity shops/ refuge centres, etc
  • Sell on eBay or Facebook
  • Look on Pinterest for ideas on up cycling and creating something new out of something old.
  • Car boot sales/jumble sales/ garage sale
  • Ask friends/family if they’d like to have it
  • Advertise on sites such as gumtree and in newspapers

Save it from the land fill wherever possible.

Recycling centres are a great place to take any unwanted things.

Once you’ve decluttered; keep it that way.

Whenever you’re deciding to make a purchase- first think; Do I love this? Will I still want to buy it if I came back in 2 weeks time? Do I need it?

You’ll find that you develop a habit of only buying what you love, and those things will make your house a home. Most things that you pick up would have only been an impulse purchase.

You can then use the money that you save and earn from the things you don’t want for things that will create memories for you and your loved ones; such as a holiday or a day out.

Have a great day x

Win a holiday with Walkers spell and go competition

If you haven’t already heard- Walkers crisps are running a competition with lastminute.com; where they are giving away 20,000 long and short haul holidays to people in the UK from London and Dublin airports.

All you have to do, is purchase walkers crisps that have a code printed on the back of the packet near the best before date. There are single and multipacks available with the code.

Follow the instructions on the packet and sign up to Spell and go HERE. Enter the code/s on your packets and you will be given computer generated letters. Collect these letters to spell out a destination on the list.

Once you’ve spelled out a destination, you can claim your prize! You will be given a 4 star hotel and flights package to that country for up to 4 people. You also have the option to choose a voucher instead with the value of up to £4000.

Bear in mind that you must keep all packets that you use as proof, otherwise you may not be able to claim your prize.

Also, I’ve found that it’s most difficult to find the letters C, K and D; which you need to have for most destinations. Some have been found, so it’s not impossible!

*HINT* visit the Walkers Facebook page and see if you can spot the letters in videos (look out for the A on the jeep). Once you find them upload a picture of it to your dashboard to get that letter.

You can also swap letters 5 times during the competition, either with friends or generated at random.

Good luck!

( I am in no way affiliated with anyone mentioned, just sharing the competition with others in the hope that someone will win their dream holiday)
